Nicky and Lucas are on the West Coast Trail!

Hi everyone,

This morning, Nicky and Lucas are tackling the rugged West Coast Trail for the Ride2Survive.

You can donate to them here: http://support.cancer.ca/goto/hike2survive

Here's an interview with Nicky:

Here is their story:

After Ride2Survive, 400kms on a bicycle over two mountain passes, what could be a better challenge than hiking 75kms in the wild, no support. Hike everything in and out, no contact with the outside world, unknown risks. Son Lucas and father Nicky, will do this together over a week, facing heat, rain, tough terrain, whatever it takes to complete the challenge!

Date and location are set. Boots on the ground, Port Renfrew BC, on 24th July, next stop seven days or so later Bamfield BC. Yes. we are doiing the challenging and beautiful West Coast Trail.

The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.

Please pledge us and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
