Rider Ride-day Outline - Sample

2:00-2:30am wake up call
2:15-2:30am breakfast service begins (oatmeal, scrambled eggs, toast, fresh fruit,  coffee)
3:00am drop your overnight bag and your day gear bag in the designated locations – TBA
3:15am final bathroom break then mount your saddles
3:30am we roll out with our without you!

AT EVERY STOP, riders should plan to refill water, eat food, go to the bathroom (what does in, must come out), and change gear, as needed and required for temperatures and terrain, grab some food to eat on the bike.. then you will hear the WHISTLE... to announce "mount up" and "move out". These announcements are timed to the minute to ensure we complete the ride as scheduled. If you are not ready to leave you will be left behind and transported by a support vehicle to a place up the highway if safe or to the next rest stop where you can then rejoin the group. This is a non-negotiable rule.

Your day gear bag will be set out, bags will be color tagged and grouped accordingly. Volunteers will assist with this.

Water stations will be set up to refill water and E-Load. Volunteers will assist or do this for you.

Food stations will be set up with snack style food and fruit (bananas, oranges, etc.) at every stop. You will eat while resting and fill your pockets for onboard refueling. Additional food (some hot) will be introduced at various stops during the day with 2 main meals - lunch in Merritt and dinner in Hope. Food introduced at early stops will continue to be available until supply is exhausted.

Toilet facilities will be available at all stops except the Penask Summit. We have a 3 person Potty Trailer and the women are invited to use the Motorhome. Our major stops will have additional fixed toilet facilities.
